Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in my kitchen in this hands-on Indian Class, with my friend Michelle Peters Jones from The Tiffin Box. Michelle was born and brought up in India, and later moved to England, before coming to Canada. Her food is inspired by her family, easy and accessible, yet traditional. Chicken biryani with cumber raita and Kerala style sweet and spice prawns will be on the menu to name two recipes. I firmly believe there is nothing better than sitting around a table eating together, once we have finished cooking, will sit down to enjoy what we have made with a glass of wine. I will answer any questions about the recipes we have prepared, as well as share more of my passion for local, seasonal, sustainable and quality food, and hope to hear about what inspires you in the kitchen, too. Classes are 3 and a half to 4 hours long, cover more than one technique and several recipes, an extensive recipe pack, including a list of where ingredients were sourced is included.
